Why a Method Is Needed

A Scientific Approach to Taste. Our F.L.A.V.O.R. methodology is a rigorous sensory analysis developed to provide objective, expert feedback on every product we evaluate.
F.L.A.V.O.R. ensures that each product is judged fairly, independently, and consistently, regardless of category, origin, or scale of production.
Our way

How Products Are Evaluated

Each product receives a numerical score based on combined performance across all six FLAVOR pillars.

Blind Sensory Tasting
Samples are coded and presented in identical formats so no visual or packaging cues influence the evaluation.

Product Anonymisation
Each jury member evaluates products individually using the FLAVOR framework before  score validation.
3.
Expert Scoring
Brand stories, advertising, price, and country of origin play no role in scoring. Only sensory performance matters.
4.
No Origin Bias
From vineyards to distant farms, we celebrate how terroir, the unique blend of soil, climate, and tradition, shapes the character and taste of exceptional products.
French-Trained Collective

Certified by World Taste Professionals

All products are evaluated by sensory professionals trained in  French structured tasting and analytical profiling. Judges include chefs, sensory analysts, food developers, and certified tasters.

Q1:  Can I modify my entry after submission?
No. Once a product has been submitted, the entry is considered registered and cannot be modified.
Q2:  When is the submission period?
Submission periods are announced throughout the year. The best way to stay informed is to follow our social media channels and subscribe to the newsletter, where all opening dates and announcements are shared.
Q3: How many products can I submit?
There is no strict limit on the number of products you may submit. However, shipping logistics should be considered when sending multiple entries. If you plan to submit more than 10 products, we recommend contacting us by email to coordinate the shipment and ensure a smooth process.
Q4: What happens after I submit?
After submission, we gather and review the details from all participating producers. Once this phase is finalized, we organize and refine the logistics based on the number of entries and the tasting capacity required. Delivery windows are then scheduled and announced via email and our social media channels.
Q5:  What types of products are eligible?
The award is open to a wide range of food and beverage products.
