Product description
Plomari Platinum Unfiltered olive oil is produced from the dominant local olive varieties Kolovi and Adramitiani combined in a blend, cold pressed, early harvested. It is a Protected Designation of Origin Lesvos (P.G.I.) olive oil from Greece. The olives harvesting is performed manually. We carefully select the trees and olives to harvest at the optimal olive ripeness stage for the maximum antioxidant content and best organoleptic characteristics. This unique olive oil has high polyphenol content with a health claim (historical values of total polyphenols range from 540mg/kg to 770mg/kg) and a well balanced taste profile; tones of olive fruitiness, bitter-sweet, nuts and many more, with a long after taste.
Plomari Platinum taste description
Plomari Platinum super early-harvest has a well-balanced bittersweet taste featuring subtle and delicate flavors of wild artichoke, freshly clipped grass, hay, bitter almond, nuts, and a medium/strong pungent aftertaste. It has a distinctive green-gold color.
